Hello visitors and previous club members. The four founders for this club are no longer able to moderate it, I am here to finally tie up any loose ends.

First, all dead links will be removed and replaced with new material such as anime music videos and fanfiction.

Secondly, all featured fanart has been removed. This is due to an uncompleted contest, and submissions that have been already put on deviant art through another account.

Kazekage-Circle does not want to be responsible for double postings, it only takes up space.

After this week, no more updates will be made to club material, or the club in general.

Please enjoy what has been left, as this page, although it has run it's course, has plenty of Gaara related sources to quench a fangirls thirst.

Seeing as the last contest was a failure (on our parts as well, for not being informative enough), we decided to make a new one that can correspond with the holiday's since the season is upon us. The prize for the last contest is being given to Ama for answering to our journal first.

We are not reinstating the last one for our own reasons. However, if you had a picture or an idea ready for the last one, you may enter that in this contest and it will be accepted. If you want to know what the last contest is so that you may pick between the two, click on the link that says "Contests" above and go to "Second Contest".

Here is the new contest we are putting up.

Contest Guidlines: This can be Thanksgiving themed or Christmas or neither, but it has to have Gaara either giving or recieving a present of some sort. It can be by or for anyone in the anime Naruto.

Rules: One entry per member. One page only. You may not vote for yourself. It can be a comic (as long as it remains one page).

Prize: (If you do not want the prize but still want to enter the contest, be our guests, we will simply keep the prize for ourselves.) The reward for the winner is there deviation displayed on the club's front page and a Sand Village head band.

Deadline: December 22 at midnight.

Alright, I'm sure you've all noticed the lack of updates to the fanart gallery. This isn't because we have forgotten, not at all. We are now simply going to be updating in bunches. Every week or two we will post all the fanart that our members have sent us.

The fanart prize done by Zeke for Sabaku-chan is almost done, so just hang in there a little while longer. the next contest is coming up and though the theme has not been established, the decided price will be a child Gaara charm. The charm can hook onto any zipper of a jacket, a pencil bag, a backpack, or a purse, etc. He can be your cute little red headed escort anywhere!

EDIT: What do you guys think of the club icon by the way? Is it too plain or boring? Should we change it? Or should we leave it how it is?

FIRST CONTEST

Objective: Draw Gaara in what would be his most uncomfortable situation. It does not have to be funny if you don't want it to be, and it can be a short comic/doujinshi. He must display one of these emotions: awkward, discomfort, humiliated, trapped, or embarrassed. Have some fun with this one guys! There are a lot of things you could do. We will allow two entries per member.

:--Prize--: The winner will get their deviation displayed at the top of the club page as a favorite, and get to choose their own drawing of Gaara. The image will be created by Zeke, the club leader who made the Kazekage-Circle I.D. He will draw Gaara in any way of your choosing! DEADLINE: May 13, 2007

SECOND CONTEST

OBJECTIVE: Create an image of Gaara having a good time with another character in the anime Naruto. It may be a pairing, or they can just be friends. Only one entry per member, and it has to be new! In other words, you cannot submit something you made before this contest. We will be accepting entries from now until November 1, 2007. That's a little over a month people!
DEADLINE: November 1, 2007

:--Prize--: A Gaara plush doll, in Kazekage uniform, five to six inxhes in length, in great to mint condition. And one Gaara charm of him as a child that can be put on anything with a zipper, back packs, purses, ect.

RULES:

You must be a member to participate in any contest.

The picture will always require you to include Gaara.

If you want to enter the contest, send a link with the contest image and it will be posted just like any other art submission except it will be titled, "CONTEST ENTRY (#)".

The winner is declared by a member voting system. This is why your contest entries are given numbers. You may not vote for your own entry.

There will be a start date for each contest as well as an end date. Once the date has expired we will accept no more entries.

If the contest includes a prize for the winner, then the winner must provide their mailing address to a club leader associate. In other words, do not enter the contests unless you are comfortable giving us your address.


VOTING:

Take into account not just how good the picture looks, but how much time the other artist spent on it. How much attention did they pay to detail? Did thay add color?

To vote you send a note to the club including the # of the entry you like the best.

You may not vote until after the end date for the contest. Every entry must be in before voting begins, otherwise it is not fair.

PRIZES:

-In the case a contest includes a prize, it will be delivered by mail.

-Any shipping costs will be on us.
